we meet you where you are.

Who we help:

  • Adult residents of NY, NJ & IL with access to the internet and a private space to conduct tele-health sessions.

  • Therapy is most effective when you “click with” your provider. If it doesn’t feel natural for you after our initial phone call, we will help you find a better fit!

How we help:

It’s essential for us that our clients get quality, comprehensive care. We go the extra mile to make sure you are receiving an excellent service, whether that’s by sending helpful resources, suggesting “assignments” between sessions, or introducing you to another trusted provider to join your treatment team. With your permission, we collaborate with your other providers as needed to make sure you receive the best treatment possible.

We offer the following types of individual therapy:

  • Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) helps you learn how to tolerate discomfort while leading a values-driven life.

  • ERP (Exposure & Response Prevention) provides relief from distressing obsessions & intrusive thoughts.

  • CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) teaches how to spot & reframe unhelpful thoughts, emotions & behaviors.

  • Trauma therapy empowers you to safely explore damaging self-narratives, in order to release shame and reclaim power.

Investing in therapy FAQs:

  • Yes! Our providers are in-network with BlueCross BlueShield (BCBS) and Aetna PPO plans. You may be required to pay a co-pay or co-insurance for each session.

We are out out-of-network providers for all other insurance plans.

  • If we do not accept your insurance, we provide you with the correct receipts (called superbills) for you to submit to your insurance company. For PPO plans, usually 60-80% of the service is reimbursed to you once your deductible is met.

  • The only way to be certain is for you to call the # on the back of your insurance card and ask if you have out-of-network mental health benefits and a deductible.

If they ask you for a CPT or treatment code, refer to the treatment code 90837 (psychotherapy).

Generally, PPO and POS plans reimburse 60-80% of the cost once your deductible is met, while HMO usually do not offer any out-of-network benefits.

  • If you have Aetna or BCBS, you may pay anywhere from $10-$30 per session once your deductible is met :)

If you chose to not use your insurance, our out-of-pocket rate for one psychotherapy session (53 minutes) is $175. We do not charge a higher rate for the initial intake session.

We invest in your care by attending frequent trainings and seminars to provide a thorough service with evidence-backed techniques.

If our rate is financially unsustainable for you, we may be able to offer reduced rates based on your income. If we are unable to provide you with a reduced rate, we will thoughtfully help refer you to a trusted provider and support you in this process.

We are committed to bringing transparency and accessibility to the therapy process.
